In the words of the warrior-poet Shawn Carter: "Allow me to re-introduce myself."
My name is Alejandro López. I'm a number of things. I'm a South Floridian who thinks that Laspada's makes the greatest subs this side of the Mississippi. I'm a double Gator, having earned both my bachelor's and master's degrees at the University of Florida.
I'm also really into writing; I'm guessing that's why you're here!
In the brief time I've wielded a pen, I've worked in a bunch of roles for a bunch of companies — from traditional print journalist at a major newspaper to multimedia copywriter at a hotel marketing agency. I've worked to diversify my skillset, and continue striving to do so.
Away from the keyboard, I’m an amateurish goalkeeper; a wanderlustful twenty-something; and an obsessive when it comes to espumita on Cuban coffee. Some of my other interests include reading, travel (big ups for redundancy), and my girlfriend's Wheaten Terrier, Piper (isn't she a cutie?).
If you're interested in learning more about me, you can download a PDF copy of my current résumé by clicking on the button below. If you'd like to send me a message, scroll up to the navigation bar and head on over to the contact page.
In the meantime, feel free to look around and jam out to your heart's content. Thanks for stopping by!
